Thirty years ago, there was no such thing as a flatbed applicator.
There were sign makers facing the same challenges that still exist today:
bubbles, wrinkles, wasted material, heavy lifting and time-consuming manual work.
At the time, there was no dedicated solution.
So we built one.
Not because we wanted to create a new product category.
Not because we wanted to start a company.
We built it because, as sign makers ourselves, we needed a better way to work.
That decision would go on to change an industry.
BEING FIRST COMES WITH MANY ADVANTAGES.
But it also comes with a responsibility.
— To keep innovating.
— To keep improving.
— To continue setting the standard.
And sooner or later, it comes with something else as well:
Others following the path you helped create.
OVER THE PAST THREE DECADES,
we have watched the flatbed applicator market grow from a single idea into a global industry.
We’ve seen features we introduced become common practice.
We’ve seen concepts, designs and marketing messages that bear a striking resemblance to our own.
And on more than one occasion, we’ve recieved support requests, service inquiries and spare parts questions from customers who were convinced they owned a Rollsroller, when they didn’t.
We take that as a compliment - and a reminder of the responsibility that comes with being the original.
Because it tells us something important.
Thirty years later, ROLLSROLLER remains the benchmark that others are measured against.
The name people remember.
The machine people compare to.
The original.
"We shopped around and nothing comes close to the original Rollsroller application table.
The build quality is the best in the business."
- Greg Painter, Fast Signs USA
SUCCESS LEAVES CLUES.
When a product solves a real problem, people notice.
When a company creates a new category, others inevitably follow.
That is not something we resent. Quite the opposite.
We are proud to see how much the industry has evolved.
We are proud that more sign makers today have access to equipment that improves productivity, quality and working conditions.
When we built the first Rollsroller, there was no flatbed applicator industry.
Today, there is. And we are proud to have played a part in creating it.
But while products can be copied, experience cannot.
History cannot.
Trust cannot.
And thirty years of continuous development, customer feedback and real-world production experience cannot be replicated overnight.
Many of our customers are still running the same Rollsroller they purchased more than twenty-five years ago.
Others started with a single machine and gradually expanded their operations to five, seven or even thirty machines.
Not because they had to.
Because it is reliable.
Day after day.
Year after year.
THE ORIGINAL STILL MATTERS
Not because it was first, but because it never stopped improving.
Because reliability matters.
Because productivity matters.
Because service matters
Because experience matters.
And because some investments are measured in decades, not years.
There are many flatbed applicators today.
There is only one original.
